IRVINE, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 17, 2003 -- Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NasdaqSC:SPPI ) announced a change in the time of its presentation at the Rodman & Renshaw Techvest Healthcare Conference. The new presentation time will be on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at 2:40 PM (EDT).

Rajesh C. Shrotriya, M.D., Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President; Luigi Lenaz, M.D., President, Oncology Division; and John L. McManus, Vice President, Finance and Strategic Planning of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals will discuss progress in the development of the Company's lead drug, satraplatin, and provide updates on the status and plans for its two, phase 2 anti-cancer compounds, generic drug portfolio and partnership activities. Spectrum Pharmaceuticals' primary focus is to develop in-licensed drugs for the treatment and supportive care of cancer patients.
